Happy Halloween!

I can't believe Halloween is already here! Matthew was in D.C. this morning so I took Madison out for an early morning jog with me and the view at Bayshore Blvd was amazing! It's a well-known area here in Tampa and you can find people running/biking on this all the time.

The weather has gotten cooler here too...high 60s in the morning and warms up by the afternoon. I'm missing the Fall in New England for sure so I'm totally loving it. When we got back from our jog, I fed Madison and made myself some breakfast. I've been LOVING my Ezekiel muffin toasted, spread with almond butter and pumpkin puree and topped with sliced bananas. Healthy, filling and DELICIOUS!

So Matthew and I had full intention to dress up as Don and Betty Draper this year, but it just didn't happen :( Instead, we're drinking beer, eating candy and watching HGTV (Can you tell the house is the only thing on our minds right now?)! With everything going on with the house and Matthew having to make a last minute trip (he got back tonight by the way), a night of relaxation was just what we needed. We were supposed to pack up our things today and move into a hotel, but we got news that the inspections for the house would take longer than hoped. Doing the math, it just made more sense to extend our apartment lease, especially since we weren't sure how long it would take. And thank God because mentally, I just wasn't ready to pack and unpack again.

I'm really hoping the closing process goes well this time around. I'm IN LOVE with the second house and the kitchen is amazing...just think about all the future blog photos! But things do happen and we have to be patient and hope for the best. But if all DOES go well...did I mention I'll get my own little office? Needless to say, I've been Pinteresting like crazy! :)
